Pak Waras dari Sidoarjo
Dapet kiriman email dari temen, semoga bermanfaat.. ..
Semalem, nonton news dot com di Metrotv, mr guest nya sungguh membuat
haru. Mr Guest yang bernama Pak Waras (lebih tepatnya
kayaknya disebut Mbah), dengan penampilan yg lugu dan super polos
didampingi istri dan seorang anaknya.
Kenapa dia menjadi special guest star di acara tsb ? Karena dia 'makhluk
langka' di jaman sekarang ini. Kalimat diatas bukan berkonotasi
merendahkan tapi justru untuk menyanjung. Pokoknya two thumbs up deh.
Cerita berawal dari pembagian ganti rugi dari PT Lapindo untuk korban
lumpurnya. Ganti rugi untuk keluarganya ditetapkan Rp 285 juta.
Pembayaran pertama
kan baru 20%. Uang yang semestinya diterima hanya Rp 56 juta. Namun apa
yang terjadi? Rekeningnya membengkak 429 juta , dia
bingung. Uang dari mana ??? Nah, dia lalu melaporkan kepada
pendampingnya, lalu sama pendampingnya diantarkan ke kantor Lapindo.
Dalam acara news dot com itu ditanya, alasan apa yang mendasari Bapak
Waras mengembalikan uang ratusan juta itu?
Jawabnya dengan lugu dan dalam bahasa Jawa (karena dia tidak bisa bahasa
Indonesia, si penanya juga pake dalam bahasa Jawa) :
"Kulo wedi dosa pak, niku sanes hak kulo." arti saya takut dosa, itu
bukan hak saya
Ogh..begitu mulianya jawabannya, mestinya ini direkam dah diedarkan
kepada para koruptor di negara kita ya.
Pak Waras yang notabene bukan orang sekolahan, bukan pejabat yang
mengemban amanah rakyat, tapi dia lebih punya hati nurani daripada para
pejabat di negara kita, yang hobi menggembungkan rekening pribadinya
dari uang yang bukan haknya.
Sebagai tanda terima kasih pihak Lapindo memberi reward menginap di
hotel berbintang, tapi lagi-lagi ditolak oleh Pak
Waras. Dengan alasan apa coba ? Dengan lugunya dia menjawab : "Kulo wedi
kadhemen. (Saya takut kedinginan) Mangke yen ten mriko
kulo ndak kemutan wedhus2 kulo" Kalo di sana nanti saya keingetan
kambing 2x saya
Ogh..nooo... .. sungguh ironis dengan anggota wakil rakyat yang
terhormat, plesir ke mancanegara dengan alasan kunjungan kerja, dengan
berombongan, pikniknya lebih banyak drpda kunjungan kerja, nginep di
hotel kelas atas di daerah kunjungan wisata. Dan itu pake uang rakyat
kan?
Pak Waras, lemah teles, gusti Allah sing bales. Nggih Mungkin didunia
ini imbalan untuk Pak Waras gak seberapa.
"Hanya" rumah gratis 40/90 dari PT Lapindo atas kejujurannya itu. Tapi
rumah akhirat jauh lebih besar dan mewah.

By Trains (MRT)
Budget rides to the Embassy and other parts of the Singapore island can be made on the Singapore Mass Rapid Transit (SMRT) services. The MRT station is located in Terminal 2 and is also accessible via the Skytrain from Terminal 1. It takes about 27 minutes to reach the city. Alighting at Somerset Station or Orchard Station. From this station take a cab / a taxi to the Embassy. It takes 5 to 10 minutes to reach the Embassy.
One would have to switch trains at EW4 - Tanah Merah MRT Station to get downtown.

Budget rides to the Embassy / City and other parts of the island can be made on either the bus or SMRT (Singapore Mass Rapid Transit) services. Bus terminals are located at the basement of Terminals 1 and 2.
Information on bus services is available near the bus stands. Please prepare the exact fare for buses as no change will be given. You can obtain change from the Money Changers in the Arrival Halls of both terminals. It takes 1 to 2 hours to reach the city.

Note: Bus No. 36 which goes to the city, ends at 11pm. Alighting at Bus stop near to Somerset Station or Bus stop near to Orchard Station. From this bus stop take a cab / a taxi to the Embassy. It takes 5 to 10 minutes to reach the Embassy.
The Embassy is located at City. If you wish to take public transport buses, take buses heading for Grange Road or Tanglin Road. For instant please alighting near to Outram Part MRT station, Somerset or Orchard MRT stations, or Redhill MRT Station. The bus available to the Embassy are:
- Bus service 75 : board the bus from Outram Part MRT station and alight at the B3 Grange Road bus stop . From the bus stop walk straight up to Chatsworth Road , the Embassy is located some 400 metres from the bus stop.
- Bus service 111 : board the bus from Somerset or Orchard MRT stations and alight at the B05 Tanglin Road bus stop (after the Chinese Embassy). From the bus stop take the second left on Chatsworth Avenue and then Chatsworth Road , the Embassy is located some 700 metres from the bus stop.
- Bus service 132 : board the bus from Redhill MRT Station and alight at the B06 Tanglin Road bus stop. Cross over the road onto Chatsworth Road and walk the 800 metres to the Embassy. The bus fare is below S$1.00
